Ever tried to cram a standard infrared lamp into a furnace that just… isn’t built for it? It’s a headache. That’s why we just build the lamps to fit your actual setup, not some “standard” that doesn’t exist in your shop. Making it fit (no matter how cramped it is) In a tight bending furnace, a few millimeters can be the difference between a perfect curve and a wasted piece of glass. If a straight tube won’t work, we’ll bend the quartz to match the inside of your machine. This lets you get the heat much closer to the glass without worrying about things bumping into each other. Plus, we can tweak the length so the heat covers the whole piece. No more weird thermal gradients or stress fractures that ruin your day. The nitty-gritty on heat and materials We use high-purity quartz because, frankly, it’s the only thing that handles the brutal thermal shock of glass softening without cracking. As for the heat, we can dial in the wattage density based on what you’re actually trying to achieve. If you need to get up to temperature fast, we can crank the wattage. Just a heads-up: make sure your wiring and power supply can actually handle that draw. You don’t want to fry your terminals on day one. Getting it running The best part? You don’t have to tear apart your furnace chassis or redesign your whole layout just to get more heating power. You just pull out the old lamps and drop in the custom-bent ones. It’s a simple swap. One thing to watch out for: when you put high-intensity heat in a small space, your furnace walls are going to feel it. Double-check your airflow and cooling systems to make sure you aren’t overheating the cabinet.
