Introduction
We built this outdoor infrared heater for the places that get hammered by the elements. Think gardens, patios, anywhere that’s constantly dealing with rain, dust, and wild temperature swings. It’s a drop-in solution that gives you instant, targeted warmth right where you need it. And here’s the deal—we don’t just talk about outdoor toughness. Every single unit goes through brutal damp-heat aging tests. Because when it comes to outdoor gear, you need proof, not just talk.
What Makes It Tick
At the heart of this heater is a shortwave infrared halogen element. It’s built to get hot, fast. Seriously fast. And it packs a ton of heat into a small footprint. That IP65 rating? It’s more than just a sticker. The housing and seals are actually built to stand up to heavy rain and keep dust out. So the inside stays clean and dry, no matter what’s happening outside. And before any heater leaves our shop, we run it through high-humidity chambers. We basically force it to age quickly, putting it through the wringer with moisture and temperature swings. This exposes weak spots—like tiny leaks, condensation paths, or corrosion—before it ever gets to you.
The Build
The halogen element lives inside a quartz tube. We chose quartz because it can handle extreme heat changes without cracking, and it keeps the heat output steady, even after thousands of on/off cycles. The R7s connector gives you a solid, direct connection that can handle a lot of power without wiggling loose. And if it ever needs replacing out in the field, it’s straightforward. We also coat the key metal parts to fight off rust, and we double-seal every entry point to stop water from creeping in. The result? A heater that can take a real beating and still keep putting out consistent heat.
Why It Works for You
Picture your outdoor garden or covered terrace. You want warmth the moment you step outside, not after waiting for ages. That’s exactly what the shortwave infrared design delivers—instant radiant heat that warms people and surfaces directly, instead of wasting energy heating the whole air around you. The IP65 build means it keeps running, rain or shine, dust or no dust. And those aging test results? They give you a real, honest look at how reliable the unit is. Just one thing to keep in mind—because it puts out so much heat, you’ll want to give it some breathing room. Make sure there’s enough clearance and ventilation around the mounting spot. We give you all the test records upfront, so you can plan your setup with total confidence.
