Let’s be honest: buying individual infrared lamps is a headache. You’re basically signing up for a weekend of bending supports, messing with wiring, and crossing your fingers that the heat distributes evenly. It’s a lot of grunt work for your shop floor, and if something goes wrong, it’s on you to fix it. We figured there was a better way. Instead of sending you a box of parts, we build the whole thing into a curved heating module. We take the technical risk in our factory so you don’t have to deal with it on your assembly line.
How we actually build these
If you just have a lamp, you have a part. But when we build a module, we’re giving you a complete system. We set the quartz tubes into a rigid, pre-curved frame. Why does that matter? Because it means the heat hits the glass at the exact same angle across the whole arc. No guesswork. We customize the wattage and voltage to fit your needs. Now, here’s the catch: if you push for really high heat density (more wattage per inch), you put a lot of stress on the lamp ends. To stop those tubes from burning out at the seal during rapid heating and cooling, we use reinforced connectors. They just hold up better.
Less time tinkering, fewer mistakes
Wiring ten different lamps into a curve is tedious. It’s the kind of job where one loose wire or a tube that’s a fraction of an inch off-center creates a cold spot. In the glass world, a cold spot means uneven tempering or, worse, a stress fracture. Our modules are basically “drop-in” replacements. You bolt the module into the oven frame, hook up the main feed, and you’re done. We’ve already handled the internal wiring and insulation. It saves a massive amount of time and kills the anxiety of wondering if the alignment is actually right.
The reality check
These modules make your footprint a lot cleaner, but they do require a perfect fit. Since the frame is rigid, you can’t just “bend it into place” on the fly like you can with single lamps. There’s no room for field adjustments. Just make sure you give us the exact dimensions of your oven cavity, and we’ll make sure it slides in without any mechanical fighting.
